

Institute for
Career Development Center (ICD) began offering classes to active members, their spouses and retired members and
their spouses in July, 2009. Classes meet at least 2 hours per week and usually run for 6 weeks. Classes are
offered at the Training Center located at 105 N.
5th Street, Union City, TN adjacent to the Union Hall. Each member should be receiving current
class offerings by mail and can also be viewed by clicking on the ICD link of the local USW website:

Please
include clock card #, course and time you wish to enroll in the class. We need at least 6 participants to make a
class. If you have an interest for a class, please send it to the email address for consideration for developing a
class.
ICD also
offers Tuition Assistance for members and retirees. Up to $1,800 per year is available for each applicant to aid
in the completion of a degree or certificate from an accredited trade school, community college, or university.
